Courtney earned her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, where she focused on Japanese meridian therapy and attended lectures by Ikeda Masakazu Sensei. She also received additional training at LiaoNing TCM University in ShenYang, China.
Her passion for cosmetic acupuncture led her to advanced training with Michelle Gellis, Shellie Goldstein, Carrie Hart, and others, as well as completing the F.A.C.E. (Facial Applications for Cosmetic Enhancement) certification in 2022. She has also studied Sculptural Face Lifting and buccal massage techniques with Yakov Gershkovich.
Courtney provides gentle, effective treatments, including facial and body acupuncture, Sculptural Face Lifting, buccal massage, microneedling, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, Chinese herbal remedies, and nutrition and lifestyle guidance.
Carine Camara is a licensed acupuncturist, healer, and joyful aging expert with over a decade of experience in holistic health and wellness. She is a graduate of Hamilton College (2003) and the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco (2010). Carine specializes in acupuncture and integrative treatments designed to support vibrant health, emotional balance, and graceful aging.
Carine is the founder of Carrinna, a thriving practice in Lafayette, CA, where she provides personalized care focused on empowering her clients to live with vitality and joy. Her extensive experience includes working with leading acupuncture clinics such as Quan Yin Healing Arts Center in San Francisco, Tamalpais Community Acupuncture in Mill Valley, and Yao San University as a Clinic Technical Supervisor.
With advanced certification in facial acupuncture through Michelle Gellis’s Facial Acupuncture Program, Carine is highly skilled in microneedling and other cosmetic acupuncture techniques. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others explore the transformative power of these modalities.
Carine will be teaching Michelle Gellis’s hands-on microneedling class at ACCHS in Oakland, CA, bringing her expertise, warmth, and dedication to every session.
