Class format
Your registration for this class includes 20 hours of recorded webinars—Modules 1–5 Facial Acupuncture Certification. Earn up to 28 CEUs when you complete all the webinars. See this page for the topics and CEU details.
Earn an additional 16 NCCAOM PDA CEU points, 16 California CEUs, and 16 Florida CEUs after you complete the two hands-on practice days.
A half-day (Sunday only) option is available for students who wish to practice ONLY cupping/gua sha or microneedle pen. See details here →

Agenda
- Registration begins at 8:00AM, local time, and the practice days run from 8:30AM – 5PM.
- There will be a review, Q&A, and demo at the start of each day, with the remainder of the day devoted to practice.
- On the first day, practice covers the following:
- Cosmetic Acupuncture
- Advanced Facial Acupuncture Techniques
- Treating Neuromuscular Facial Conditions
- On the second day, practice covers the following*:
- Facial cupping
- Facial gua sha
- Microneedling for acupuncturists
- *Important notes about day two:
- To practice facial cupping and Gua Sha, you MUST use Michelle’s approved tools, available at the AcuLift Skincare website (preferred pricing available with a wholesale partner account). For Canadian customers, cupping/gua sha kits are also available from Eastern Currents.
- To practice microneedling, you MUST use the AcuLift MicroPen. Michelle will have a few microneedle pens available for students to use during class; however, if you own an AcuLift pen, it is highly recommended that you bring your own to maximize practice time. Please note that other microneedle pens will not be permitted in class. The AcuLift MicroPen is also available for purchase at AcuLift Skincare (register for a wholesale partner account to buy). Not available in Canada.
- No other manufacturer’s microneedle pens or tools will be permitted in class.
Before you attend
- The recorded webinars must be viewed in advance. Upon purchase, you will be enrolled in the modules 1–5 webinar package. Please complete at least modules 1,2,4,5 before class. You may only practice the techniques you reviewed in the recorded webinar.
- Please print and bring any handouts from the webinar(s) you viewed – no printed handouts will be provided in class.
- Please print and bring the following forms. The health profile and consent form need to be filled out before class in order to participate in the practice.
- In order to needle, you must be a licensed or registered acupuncturist or medical professional who has been trained and licensed in acupuncture.
- Unlicensed individuals can attend and observe others’ needling and practice their own cupping/gua sha—use coupon code “student50” for a $50 unlicensed student discount.
- Registration is also available to practitioners enrolled in Michelle’s Advanced Certificate program — they may only practice techniques they have already learned via their recorded webinar(s).
